The members of the Guild count it a privilege to stand beside the Little Sisters of the Poor at the St. Augustine’s Home in Indianapolis, in support of their benevolent work caring for the elderly poor during the final years their lives.
We help the Little Sisters of the Poor by raising money and assisting in the operation of the St, Augustine Home additionally, we volunteer at the home helping with daily duties as well as supporting and working with the Residents. Since 1967, the St. Augustine Home Guild has played a valuable role helping the elderly poor in our community.
The Guild is a group of women of all ages, denominations and abilities from central Indiana. Volunteer opportunities include working at the Home with the Little Sisters, with Residents and fundraising.
